Workount stores what you train and almost nothing else. This page says exactly what that means, in the order the questions actually come up.
What Google tells us
Signing in with Google gives us your email address, your name, and your profile picture. That is the whole handover. We never receive your password — Google does not share it, and we have nowhere to put one. Google is the only sign-in method (there is no email-and-password option to fall back to).
What we store
Your profile — the name, email and picture above, plus your language and whether you read weights in kilograms or pounds. And your training: the programs you build, the sessions you log, every set with its weight, reps and whether it was a warmup. Nothing else. There is no tracking of your location, your contacts, your device, or anything you do outside this app.
Who can see it
Only you. Every table enforces row-level security in the database itself, keyed to your account, so the restriction does not depend on the app asking the right question. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no advertising in Workount at all.
Where it lives
In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, and served by Vercel. Both are processors acting on our behalf; both may store data outside your country. Sessions you have not finished yet are also held in your own browser's storage on your device, which is what lets the app work with no signal.
The landing page
The public pages — this one and the front page — count visits using Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and builds no profile of you: it records that a page was viewed, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. It does not run anywhere inside the app itself.
Deleting it
Email us and we will delete your account and everything attached to it. Not archive it — delete it. Ask for a copy of your data first and you will get one.
Your rights
Under the LGPD in Brazil and the GDPR in Europe you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion. The address below is the way to do any of that, and it reaches a person.
